Resilience. I hate that it is the responsibility of the people with harm being inflicted upon them to be proactive and heal. It’s so backwards to me as a concept that in order to survive, the innocent party is often left to clean up the mess that someone else made. We should not have to be resilient, we are deserving of a life that’s soft AND I commend you/admire your strength.
