Butterflies are so significant to me, hence my use of them in the logo. When you really think of the process that caterpillars go through, it is moving. They start as furry wormlike creatures, scooting along, eating leaves. Then one day they curl up in a ball and their bodies create a cocoon that surrounds them and protects them from the elements until they develop. Then they break out of this cocoon as an entirely different creature with the new found ability to fly and see/experience so much more of the world than they ever could’ve in their previous form. Butterflies signify change, growth, development, and evolution. When we think of the constant changes that we go through in our lifetimes and how terrifying change can feel, we sit in the dark unknown inside of our cocoon without a clear indication of what is to come. We go through the discomfort of growing into the next version of ourselves and shedding who we once were with no definitive understanding of who we will be and if it will go well. We emerge victorious and with a newfound freedom and pride in who we are and the resilience it requires to get here. We are all works in progress, we are constantly growing and evolving into the next (and hopefully better) versions of ourselves.
